The Z35's suspension system provides a superior load transfer for added comfort on the trail.
The Z35 is outfitted with Gregory's proprietary JetStream DTS suspension system, which provides true airflow across the back to keep you ventilated on hot days. As a result, you'll feel as strong and refreshed toward the end of your hike as you did at the beginning. The JetStream DTS also holds a lightweight, spring-steel bar in tension, providing a superior load transfer while keeping the weight down. Finally, the system's unique DTS harness yoke grows stiffer as the load increases, making the pack comfortable even with a ton of gear inside.

Storage-wise, the Z35 includes a sizable main compartment, quick-access waist belt pockets, side-mesh pockets with compression pass-through, and dual axe/tool attachment points. And hydration is a must while on the move, which is why the pack includes a hydration sleeve (reservoir sold separately) and dual hydration ports. Other details include an Auto-Fit harness system, an all-access front zip, side and bottom compression, and an Aero-Tech mesh back panel.

About Gregory Mountain Products
Wayne Gregory designed his first backpack at age 14 as part of a Boy Scout project. Shortly afterward, he met Andy Drollinger, the founder of San Diego California Adventure 16. Andy was so impressed with Wayne's design that he invited the Boy Scout to visit the Adventure 16 factory, where he began tinkering with a variety of backpack ideas. Wayne soon became the young company's second employee. Wayne opened his first company, Sunbird, in 1970, but dissolved it a few years later after expressing frustration with the limitations of external frame designs. He founded Gregory Mountain Products in 1977, eventually pioneering many firsts, including being the first to build backpacks in different frame, harness, and waist belt sizes; the first (and still only) pack manufacturer to develop a waist belt system that adjusts to fit different hip angles; and developing the center-locking bar tack, a stitch that ends and locks off on the center of a seam instead of the side for increased strength at major stress points. Gregory is located in Sacramento, California.
