Gregory Wasatch 12 Daypack Overviews

The Wasatch is a versatile pack made for light and fast trips on the trail. The BioSync suspension allows the pack to move with you and the internal compression system keeps the pack centered and close to your back – helping to eliminate pack bounce during high aerobic activity. With enough room for extra layers, lunch, tools, pumps and spare tubes you’ll be able to spend a full day out on the trail.

Gregory Wasatch 12 Daypack Specifications.

With enough room for extra layers, lunch, and tools, the versatile Gregory Wasatch 12 daypack is ideal for light and fast trips on the trail. The Wasatch 12 is outfitted with Gregory's BioSync ATS technology system.

The Wasatch 12 includes 720 cubic inches of storage.
ATS stands for Active Trail Suspension, and includes a set of flexible tendons that attach the shoulder harness and waist belt to the pack body. This allows the pack and suspension to move with the body while in motion, keeping you comfortable throughout the day. The BioSync ATS system also offers on-the-fly quick access to an internal compression structure, allowing you to draw the pack in closer to your back as the volume of the reservoir decreases.

Storage-wise, the Wasatch 12 includes a sizeable main compartment, an expandable front stretch-mesh pocket with three-point compression, a front pocket with a mesh organizer, dual stretch-mesh waist belt pockets with cargo stabilizer loops, and side mesh pockets. And hydration is a must while on the move, which is why the pack includes a hydration sleeve (reservoir sold separately) and an exit port with a tube management system. Other features include an Aero-Mesh back panel, an adjustable sternum strap, a webbing loop for securing a bicycle light or reflector, a key clip, and reflective accents.

About Gregory Mountain Products
Wayne Gregory designed his first backpack at age 14 as part of a Boy Scout project. Shortly afterward, he met Andy Drollinger, the founder of San Diego California Adventure 16. Andy was so impressed with Wayne's design that he invited the Boy Scout to visit the Adventure 16 factory, where he began tinkering with a variety of backpack ideas. Wayne soon became the young company's second employee. Wayne opened his first company, Sunbird, in 1970, but dissolved it a few years later after expressing frustration with the limitations of external frame designs. He founded Gregory Mountain Products in 1977, eventually pioneering many firsts, including being the first to build backpacks in different frame, harness, and waist belt sizes; the first (and still only) pack manufacturer to develop a waist belt system that adjusts to fit different hip angles; and developing the center-locking bar tack, a stitch that ends and locks off on the center of a seam instead of the side for increased strength at major stress points. Gregory is located in Sacramento, California.
